Idan was born on Christmas day 1974, about two hills away from Bethlehem. He holds a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Sydney, a B.Sc. in Medical Science and an M.Sc. in Microbiology from the Hadassah School of Medicine, the University of Jerusalem. He writes books and things, usually about science. Idan lives at his wits’ end (near the Darebin creek in Melbourne’s northern suburbs) with his wife and two sons, and owns four bicycles in varying states of disrepair. He plays guitar at the slightest provocation.
